About

A web-based AR platform for interactive furniture visualization

Quickify closes the gap between an online furniture listing and the room it is destined for. Each product carries a QR code; scanning it opens a browser-based augmented reality view where the piece is anchored to the floor at true scale and can be rotated, resized and repositioned.

Objectives it delivers

  • QR-driven AR: an in-browser scanner reads a product code and opens the matching AR view immediately.
  • Direct interaction: rotation and resize controls plus orbit, pan and zoom for spatial understanding.
  • Purchase confidence: real dimensions shown alongside the model so clearance can be checked before buying.
  • Engagement analytics: views, placements and adjustments are counted per piece on the insights page.
  • Cross-platform: responsive layout, with AR through WebXR on Android, Quick Look on iOS, and a 3D fallback on desktop.

Privacy, accessibility and licensing

The camera stream is used only for local QR decoding and is never transmitted or stored. Interaction counts live in this browser's local storage and can be cleared on demand, in line with GDPR data-minimisation. Controls are keyboard reachable, sliders are labelled for screen readers, and colour pairs meet contrast guidance. The 3D models shown here are openly licensed sample assets used for demonstration.
